2020 will be remembered as one of the most pivotal years of the 21st century, a moment when global consciousness confronted the systemic oppression and violence faced by Black communities every day.
These events inspired Jason to create Easier To Ignore, a storytelling platform and campaign that amplifies the diverse, nuanced experiences of being Black in America. Through candid interviews and striking portrait photography, the work presents intimate, iconic, and powerful vignettes that honor the complexity, resilience, and humanity of the Black experience.
